Duties:
Reporting to the Executive Manager of Human Resources, the successful applicant will participate as a team member in the preparation, development, coordination and maintenance of integrated human resources services. The individual is responsible for human resources functions including but not limited to selection and recruitment, payroll administration and support.Qualifications:
Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources Management or equivalent;
CHRP designation (an asset);
Previous experience in human resources, payroll or a related field;
Previous experience in the education sector (an asset);
Previous experience in a unionized environment (an asset);
Knowledge and understanding of current legislation;
Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency with Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel and HRIS programs/applications;
Well developed organizational, decision-making, leadership, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
Strong attention to detail.
