Substitute Administrative Assistants provide coverage for planned and unscheduled absences of the school based Administrative Assistants. Hours will vary based on Division need. Responsibilities include receptionist duties, interacting with students and parents, maintaining student and financial records, daily attendance, administrative support and other duties as assigned.
The hourly rate of pay for substitute Administrative Assistants is $20.02 inclusive of vacation pay. When filling temporary contracts, we give first consideration to our Substitute Administrative Assistants.
Qualifications: completion of a post-secondary program for administrative assistants
1 year of formal experience performing responsible clerical and secretarial work
experience with First Aid, PASI, PowerSchool, Acorn and AtrieveERP is considered an asset
ability to adapt quickly to new environments
