Temporary Part-Time Aftercare Support Worker(s)
Schedule: 3:30-5:30 pm Monday to Friday
(Flexible on number of days per week)
End Date: December 20, 2024Overall Responsibilities : Responsible to act professionally and to support the schools safe, inclusive and accepting learning environment by being a positive role model at all times.
Responsible for carrying out duties assigned by the Facilitator of the Program or designate
Responsible for supporting the needs of all students enrolled in the aftercare programDuties: Facilitate and actively participate in daily afterschool activities, responding to childrens needs and interests
Exchange information with parents regarding childrens needs and schedules. Respond to parent questions and concerns about childrens daily activities and behaviour.
Administer first aid as required
Keep play areas, indoors and outdoors equipment orderly and aesthetically pleasing Qualifications: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent is required.
Employment experience related to working with children or youth preferred
