Successful candidate responsibilities: Provide support to students in an inclusive setting
Follow the direction of the classroom TeacherPreference will be given to candidates who: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school
Understand and carry out oral and written direction
Work independently with minimal instruction
Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills
Respect confidentiality
Practice professionalism with all PHE School students, staff, administration, parents and public
Are aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures
Have experience working with young children
Have an understanding of the teaching/learning process
Have strong interpersonal skills and patience
