Vacancy Details: Casual Position - 7.5 hours/week(3:00pm-4:30pm) - until June 26, 2025District School Board Ontario North East is looking for a Personal Support Worker to assist with the transport of a student(while on a school bus) from the school to the home following the school day.
R esponsibilities and Duties Assist with the transport of the student (while on a school bus) from the school to the home following the school day (3:00pm-4:30pm)
Continuously observe the student on the school bus (must report and document unsafe conditions and behavioural, physical, and/or cognitive changes)
Execute the students care plan related to the complex medical needs (proper established care for student in the event of seizures and other health related needs)
Assist with medication related to students complex medical needs
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughlyPosition Requirements Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate
Criminal records check with Vulnerable Sector Screening that is less that 6 months old at time of hire
Related experience with children with special needs
