Pembina Hills School Division Transportation Department invites applications for the position of a Temporary Parts & Service Assistant. This position is 5.5 hours per day, 5 days per week and will begin as soon as possible. This position will work 3 days per week in Barrhead and 2 days per week in Westlock.The Division

Pembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3800 students in 15 community schools in north central Alberta. PHSD also provides education to over 10,000 students from within and beyond our borders, through our online school, Vista Virtual School.

PHSD currently operates 68 bus routes, transporting approximately 3,000 students daily. There are 4 contract routes and 64 routes operated by division drivers. Order parts, input and track parts inventory

Experience in a repair facility or parts store would be an asset

Input daily work orders for mechanics in the ServiceFinder software program

Schedule all buses according to PHRD Preventative Maintenance Program for routine services, repairs, and CVIPs in ServiceFinder

Process and track bus fleet warranty claims

Manage phone calls and provide administrative support to mechanics when required

Good written and verbal communication skills

Computer skills required

Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
