Salary: $78,675 to $84,027 annually (compensation also includes a comprehensive benefits package (including extended health and dental, life insurance, health care spending account), participation in the OMERS pension plan, competitive vacation and sick leave, summer hours, and maternity/parental leave top-up))

RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform Speech Language Pathologists duties by consulting with school staff, parents, and outside agencies about students with communication difficulties. Assess and diagnose communication disorders associated with Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, Developmental Delay, Learning Disabilities, cleft palate and hearing loss.

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful applicant will possess a Masters degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology and must be a member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). Experience working in a multi-disciplinary setting and demonstrated experience with intervention strategies appropriate for children with a variety of communicative disorders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a strong client and quality service focus. Proficient in the use of word processing and email software. Candidates require a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travelling to various board sites.
