S2324-98 Human Resources Assistant This is a full-time (1.0 fte) temporary position commencing August 1, 2024 or with the possibility of earlier dependent on the successful applicant. The assignment involves assisting and supporting the Human Resource department with related Human Resources administration duties. Depending on the location of the successful candidate, this position can be based out of the Bonnyville or Lac La Biche office. Interested applicants must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to multitask.

The successful candidate will: Maintain HR information by collecting, entering, and maintaining employee documentation

File and respond to telephone, email, and in person inquiries from the public and staff

Manage the online Human Resources advertisement and application portal

Prepare documentation relating to new hires, terminations, leaves, and retirements

Assist staff with absence entry and weekly authorization

Provide general administrative assistance to the Human Resources departments as needed

Preference will be given to applicants who have: Certificate/Training in Business Administration or Human Resources

Experience in the field of Human Resource Administration

Basic knowledge of current Alberta Labour Legislation

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated high standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Applications

Familiarity with Atrieve ERP or a similar databaseHow to Apply:
