EFFECTIVE DATE: September 1, 2024 (Semester 1) / January 31, 2025 (Semester 2) QUALIFICATIONS: Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification and qualified to teach in the Intermediate and/or Senior divisions, in accordance with Ministry of Education Regulations.

Applications from qualified candidates will be considered in the following order: 1. Current qualified internal secondary part-time contract teachers, provided the vacant section(s) fit in the part-time teacher's 2024-25 school-year timetable. Applications from current part-time contract teachers should be addressed and emailed to the attention of the respective school Principals.

2. Current qualified internal secondary contract teachers. Applications from current contract teachers should be addressed and emailed to the attention of the respective school Principals.

3. Current qualified Grand Erie secondary occasional teachers and external qualified applicants. The only way that applications will be accepted is through Apply to Education (ATE). The ATE website (https://granderie.simplication.com/) will facilitate the submission of the required documentation.

Your application must include a cover letter, resume, copy of your current Certificate of Qualification, practice teaching reports or the most recent performance review(s), and the names of three (3) professional references (at least one of whom must be a current principal/supervisor, if applicable).

All applications will be subject to a screening process and some applicants may not be granted an interview.

Any assessment and selection materials and processes used in the interview process can be made available in an accessible format, upon request in advance.All new employees are required to submit an original Police Record Check (which included a vulnerable sector search) acceptable to the Board prior to the commencement of employment.
