We are searching for an energetic, enthusiastic teacher to assume some responsibilities as Vice-Principal at Green Dome Islamic School. Ideally, you would possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to provide a balanced advocacy for teachers, students and parents. The ability to motivate and inspire staff and students to high levels of achievement along with establishing and maintaining a respectful, orderly and purposeful school environment is essential. Preference will be given to an individual with the expertise to support the overall development of literacy and numeracy for all students.

Green Dome Islamic School is a brand new school located in North East Calgary along Metis Trail and provides an Islamic learning environment that offers an accredited program of studies compliant with the Alberta Education curriculum. Green Dome is a K-4 school that offers a wide variety of learning opportunities including regular classroom studies as well as foreign language and computer sciences. Preference will be given to applicants with Elementary Education background.

This is a full time assignment that includes part time teaching and part time administration responsibilities to commence the first day of the 2024-20254 school year. Teaching assignment will be determined based on applications received. An administrative allowance will compensate the administration responsibilities. Preference will be given to an individual who possesses a Masters degree or is working towards one.
