Create individualized learning update comments, host parent-teacher conferences, track homework, lead devotions and pray with students. Participate in required school functions such as Pro-D days and awards nights.A successful candidate will:Possess or be in the process of attaining a British Columbia Professional Teaching Certificate.Be eligible to work in British Columbia.Be willing to receive guidance from a mentor.Know effective strategies for and be familiar with UDL and place-based learning.Candidates should be interested in including learning opportunities outside the classroom on the school grounds or off-site.Be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents.Have strong classroom management and organizational skills.Communicate a biblical worldview within French classes.Be familiar with the AIM Language Learning methodology.Be fluent in spoken and written French.Please send a cover letter, resume and statement of faith.
