Continuing 1.0 FTE

Salary: The starting annual salary for this full-time teaching position ranges from $61,512 to $108,430, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.

-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting. Music & Band/Fine Arts Teacher - Grades K-7

1.0 FTE continuing contract, starting September 3, 2024 or upon completion of the posting process.

Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Music Education and Band. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Fine Arts the Elementary level.Please note that this position will support both Frank J. Mitchell Elementary School and Sparwood Secondary School in the community of Sparwood, BC.
