School District #8 (Kootenay Lake) has a vacancy for a 0.6 FTE Continuing Middle School Years teacher with our Homelinks Program in Creston, BC.

This position will facilitate blended learning for middle years students in the Creston Elev8 Homelinks program. This will involve implementation of all aspects of the students learning program, including parent supported at home learning, full program activities, as well as regular support for both the student and the parent. A key responsibility, in collaboration with parents, is the creation of the students learning plans.As Elev8 Homelinks is a Distributed Learning program, applicant must be aware of existing DL policies and procedures, both at the district level, and the provincial level. Experience with a blended learning model also an asset.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor of Education

A valid BC teaching certificate and current membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch
