The Fiddling Instructor will provide instruction at Grand Rapids School, Gypsumville School, Dauphin River School, Skownan School, Waterhen School and Barrows Junction School. As a member of the Divisions Fiddling Program this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to expand an established and thriving Division program, which currently operates in 31 schools with an eleven person instructional team. A comprehensive benefits program and mileage reimbursement is provided.Qualifications: Bachelor of Education Degree
Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
Previous fiddling instruction experience
Ability to play guitar would be an asset
Valid Manitoba drivers license and ability to travel and work flexible hours as necessary
Strong classroom management skills
Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life
Experience working in a northern community would be an asset
