Casual Position Keewatin Patricia DSB ConnectEd
Rate of Pay - $46.03 per hour
Ontario Teacher Certification with Intermediate qualifications are required. Teaching position and required hours dependent upon student enrolment. Blended delivery to include virtual classes and online independent work. Effective immediately - June 14, 2024. Virtual classes on Google Meet Tuesday and Thursdays from 4:30 6 p.m. and independent/asynchronous supports to be determined. Based on enrolment, this position may be split and/or shared. Applicant must have access to reliable Internet and have the skills, knowledge and competencies to teach virtually and support students at a distance, specifically Grade 8 students transitioning to Grade 9 or students new to KPDSB.
This position will remain open until filled . Applicants must include a cover letter, resume and the name of three professional references and authorization for the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board to contact them under the terms of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. A copy of the Ontario College of Teachers qualifications must be included (if qualified). Recent graduates should include university transcripts and/or practicum teaching reports.
