EIPS is recruiting a full-time Chemistry and Mathematics Teacher at Fort Saskatchewan High.
Fort Saskatchewan High serves approximately 470 students in grades 10 to 12, with 25 teaching staff and 12 support staff. The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park, AB. Fort Saskatchewan High aims to provide a stimulating student-centered environment that models lifelong learning where every person is provided with the opportunity to reach their own potential. Open to internal and external applicants, priority will be given to EIPS teachers who hold a continuous contract and meet the minimum requirements of the position Qualifications: Bachelor of Education degree
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Effective organization and classroom management skills
Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
