EIPS is recruiting a full-time Counsellor and Division 1 Teacher at Fort Saskatchewan Elementary.
Fort Saskatchewan Elementary serves approximately 310 students in kindergarten to grade 6, with 17 teaching staff and 10 support staff. The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park, AB.

The teaching assignment is Grade 2 (0.426 FTE) and Counsellor (0.574 FTE) Open to internal and external applicants, priority will be given to EIPS teachers who hold a continuous contract Qualifications: Bachelor of Education degree
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Knowledge and training of the Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark Assessment Kits and their meaningful implementation in the classroom, used to guide instruction
Effective organization and classroom management skills
Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
