The Educational Assistant works under the supervision of a certified teacher who retains the responsibility for planning, instruction, supervision and evaluation of the students.
Qualifications and Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent
Educational Assistant Diploma with CPR/First Aid preferred
Experience in literacy and numeracy support preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Basic knowledge and understanding of MS Office (Word and Excel)
Ability to follow programming focused on numeracy and literacy and adapt as neededResponsibilities: Data/record keeping
Deliver literacy and numeracy programming
Work collaboratively with school based learning support teacher, classroom teachers, lead intervention teacher, and school leaders
