Full-time classroom teacher needed for an Innovative Support Centre (ISC) classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for individualized program planning for a range of students and collaborating with Educational Assistants to assist with program delivery.

Qualifications: Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate (or eligible to apply)

Bachelor Degree in Education

Specialization in Special Education, desired but not mandatory

Strong philosophy on inclusion and transferable life skills learning

Experience with specialized programming and students with specialized needs

Knowledge and understanding of trauma informed practice

NVCI training is an asset, or willingness to be trained

Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Record Check
