Elementary Generalist

2024-25 School Year

St. Andrews School requires 2 positions as 1.0 F.T.E. Elementary Generalist Teacher from August 28, 2024. This is a full-year position that has the possibility of extension. There are 2 positions available - one in K -3 and 4-6.

The successful candidate ideally will have knowledge and experience in elementary education, literacy, numeracy, First Nation, Metis & Inuit students, and social and emotional development. The successful candidate requires proficiency in the use of educational technology, and an understanding of assessment for learning, and is eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.

The candidate must be willing to work in a rural Catholic community environment and be a team player willing to collaborate, communicate, and work together. HFCRD is actively recruiting teachers for upcoming positions and welcomes new graduates to apply. Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
