Assignment: Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position

Duties to commence August 28, 2024 and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year

Courseload to include, grade 10-12: Science

Mathematics

Options/CTF/Com, dependent on the successful candidates qualifications

Qualifications: Experience working in an alternative school environment

Experience working in courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset

Passion for education and commitment to student success

Assessment literate

Ability to utilize varied instructional Strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs

Ability to work independently is essential

Ability to teach multiple grades and subjects simultaneously

Ability to work as a part of a strong collaborative team Must have strong technology and 21st century learning skills

Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Strong classroom management skills

An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset
