The opportunity:

We are now accepting applications for our Principal Pool as we are anticipating vacancies due to potential retirements and reassignments. Vacancies may occur at Elementary, Middle or Secondary Schools.

Langley School District is looking for high-energy, enthusiastic educational leaders who have: an understanding of the changes and direction of BC's New Curriculum including ideas on implementation at the district and school level.

background and experience on current and diversified student assessment strategies.

a demonstrated ability to establish and promote effective interpersonal relationships.

successful and proven leadership in instruction, assessment, curriculum implementation and in-service

a demonstrated ability to build partnerships within a school community through impactful communication skills.

wide-ranging experience managing the organization, operation, and resources of a school.

a proven ability to develop, implement and monitor a shared vision.

innovative ideas and experience in developing and supporting a positive, safe and caring school climate.

demonstrated skills in community/district involvement, including the ability to work cooperatively with parents, professionals and community service agencies.Experience supporting and equipping Indigenous Students, Students with Diverse Abilities, and Children and Youth in Care in inclusive classroom settings is an asset.

Applicants must have completed or be currently working towards a Master's Degree in Educational Administration or Curriculum Development.
