St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a full-time temporary teaching position at Christ The King School in Leduc, Alberta. This position will begin December 2, 2024 and end January 31, 2026. The position includes leading our LEAP program (supporting students with complex needs and individual education plans) K & E Math 9, Health 9, Yoga Fitness and Religion. Ability to assist in the schools co-curricular and extra-curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College is an asset. Leduc, a city of 31,000 people, is located 33 kilometers south of Edmonton and is part of the Edmonton Capital Region metropolitan area. Located at the crossroads of air, highway and rail transportation, Leduc is a growing, dynamic city in the heart of Canadas economic engine. With a bustling arts and culture scene, ample natural spaces, and community groups run by dedicated volunteers, Leduc is as friendly as it is active. Christ the King School is a grades 9 to 12 school with an enrolment of approximately 325 students, serving Leduc as well as the larger surrounding rural area. Christ the King has served the Leduc community for almost 30 years. The school is committed to helping all students achieve at high levels, build community, and growing in relationship with others through Jesus Christ.
