Under the
direction of the Supervisor(s) of Maintenance, perform work in accordance with
the appropriate designation as recognized by the Ministry of Skills and
Development. This involves the maintenance, repair, installation, and
construction of structures, fixtures, and equipment throughout the school
board sites.
Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of
one (1) to three (3) years Carpenter experience

carpenter certification
259L Locksmith
certification preferred or willing to train
Design,
construct, repair, modify, install, service, maintain, dismantle
structures, furnishings, and equipment
Perform
other duties as related to concrete laying, dry walling and floor
covering, locksmithing, glass replacement and millwork
Maintain
electronic database for locksmithing, key cutting, door hardware service
Install
and maintain a Master Keying System
Repair,
install and maintain locks on cabinets, lockers, and doors
Repair
panic bars and other exit hardware
Repair and
replace tumblers, springs, and other lock parts
Adjust and
maintain door systems
Perform
other assigned duties that are within the area of knowledge and skill as
required

Type: Permanent Salary range: $32.58 to $35.57
