The London District Catholic School Board is currently accepting applications for:

Temporary Classroom Support Personnel (TCSP) 2024-2025 School Year

Successful candidates will supervise and support students when teachers are absent always ensuring a safe and secure environment and creating and coordinating safe and enjoyable activities for students while cooperating with the school staff regarding safety protocols and plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a university degree or college diploma in any subject area; including a diploma in a child or adolescent related field of study or expertise in working with school-age children in an art, physical education or music program

Previous experience working with school age children and/or adolescents required

Excellent communication, problem solving, and time management skills required

A positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure

Must be enthusiastic and passionate about working with children

Possess an understanding of and a willingness to support the mission of a Catholic School system

Ability to follow instructions left by classroom teacher and/or the principal/vice-principal

First Aid and CPR certification considered an assetHours of Work:

3.5 to 7 - hour shifts ranging between 8:00 am and 4:30 pmSuccessful candidates must have reliable transportation and must be available to participate in a Board training program prior to commencing employment.
