PRIORITY TEACHERS TEACHING ON CALL

The Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows School District (SD42) is looking for qualified teachers to work at Elementary and Secondary schools as Priority Teachers Teaching On Call. As a Priority Teacher Teaching On Call you must be available to work each instructional day and to participate in all non-instructional days. There will be a daily call out by the automated dispatch system or by the dispatch desk, to secure a dispatch at a specific location for the day or for the duration of the assignment. There may be situations where the District will place you in a position, which you are considered qualified for, for an extended period of time, if the District is unable to fill the position through the post and fill process. As a 1.0 FTE Priority Teacher Teaching On Call you will have a full time contract with benefits and must be available to work five days per week.

The applicant will possess: Bachelor of Education Degree,

Eligibility for or certification with the Teacher Regulation Branch. These positions are effective immediately to June 30, 2023 and from September 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
