Senior Administrative Assistant

10-month position, Full-Time 37.5 Hours per week

A unique opportunity exists for a Senior Administrative Assistant looking for a challenging career move. This position is multi-faceted and often fast-paced as school environments are. We require a self-starter who brings enthusiasm to the office. Preference will be given to those applicants who: commit to supporting a healthy work culture

have previous administrative support experience

have professional experience in the various tasks related to bookkeeping, budgeting, and the finances of a school

are proficient with:

PowerSchool (student data / timetabling)

Edsby (attendance / report cards)

Google: including Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Classroom, and Forms

Microsoft Office: including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams

Imagine Everything (website)

PASI (Alberta Education Provincial Student Information)

Ed Forms (working with CST to upload necessary documents)

Atrieve (staff absences and substitute teacher booking)

KevSoft (finance software)

have experience with the following:

Hour Zero (Occupational Health and Safety)

FAME (District work order system)

Minolta photocopier

have a detailed vision for setting up systems for the facility. This includes workflow patterns, communication flows, and record keeping procedures

have an ability to work well with students, staff, parents and outside service providers

have an interest and an ability to connect with and support students with complex needs, understanding that this role is an opportunity for an additional supportive relationship

have the ability to multi-task in a busy office environment as well as maintaining confidentiality when necessary

other related clerical duties such as, but not limited to meeting/greeting/directing people, creating/modifying/preparing letters, maintaining the school webpage, professional development requests, booking appointments and interviews, maintaining access cards and school keys.Please read the job description.
