The Simcoe County District School Board is
seeking qualified applicants for the position of Research Assistant Student for
Summer 2024 in the SCDSBs Research and Decision Support Services department.
Reporting to the Manager of Research and Decision Support, the successful
candidate will work on various research projects requiring primarily
qualitative data analysis and research skills. This position will work on-site
at the Education Centre.

Qualifications:
Required: University or College student, with experience
and/ or training in qualitative and quantitative data analysis, editing
and report writing.
Ability to work independently and follow directions. Detail oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Extensive computer
experience and a working knowledge of
PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, spreadsheet applications
and willingness to learn new applications.
Preferred: An
understanding of qualitative data analysis and the ability to organize, merge and
summarize large quantities of data or text. Qualified applicants are invited to apply for this
