Educational Resource Worker (EA) Educational Resource Workers work as collaborative team members to facilitate the inclusion of students with differing abilities/diverse learning needs. The Educational Resource Worker is assigned to a Family of Schools and is accountable to the School Principal and/or designate. Actual duties are assigned as determined by students needs as per Ministry of Education regulations and Board policies, procedures, and practices.

48 Full-Time Contracts (to start immediately to end no later than June 30, 2022) Salary $26.91/hour (Daily Supply)

$43,671.00 to $61,674.00 annually (Contract) Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Educational Assistant (EA), or equivalent as deemed by the Employer.Or Secondary school diploma with entry level knowledge of Early Childhood Education (ECE) (EA) practices.Additional Qualifications / Additional Experience: 1 Year experience working with students with differing abilities/diverse learning needs preferred.

May be required to receive training in CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and/or other emergency techniques.

Ability to work with differing abilities/diverse learning needs, strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills, ability to work as team member, flexibility, high degree of sensitivity and diplomacy, good organizational skills, experience in use of computer technology and/or other communication supports as appropriate, ability to deal with potentially stressful and emergent situations.Candidates must provide: Certificate/Diploma/Degree/Transcripts
