Invites applications for the position of: ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE TEACHER

YOTBU LTO - Multiple Schools

Effective: Immediately to Open Ended

Facilitate the reception/orientation of English learners in collaboration with the school staff

Conduct initial assessments of English language learners

Provide program support to English language learners on an in-class, withdrawal or combination in-class/withdrawal basis

Collaborate with school staff in adapting classroom programs and evaluation strategies to meet English language learners needs

Collaborate with school staff regarding the evaluation of English language learners' progressRequired Qualifications/Experience: ESL - Part 1

Primary and/or Junior and/or Intermediate Division QualificationsDesired Qualifications/Experience: Elementary classroom teaching experience (preferably in more than one division)

Additional ESL Qualification courses

Experience teaching elementary English language learners
