1.0 FTE, July 2/24 - August 23/24 (up to two positions, East and West) NOTE: The assignment will be scheduled to a maximum of 110 hours, during the period from July 2, 2024 July 29/24 and will reduce to 0.5 FTE to a maximum of 55 hours during the period of July 30/24 August 23/24. **Summer positions are dependent on Ministry program approval, access to sites, program enrolment, funding and dates are subject to change**

Qualifications: Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)

Notes:

In addition to working with individual community partners for student placements, Co-op teachers will work with Focus on Youth and, as such, may be required to attend evening planning meetings and student preplacement training sessions with these partners in May and June. The Board Office will serve as the home school for the community teacher. These positions involve a good deal of preparation in the spring prior to the commencement of summer school. The successful candidate will be expected to provide their own vehicle to travel to school sites. Travel expenses will be paid according to Article 25 of the current Collective Agreement.
