Process for selection:

Applications for Elementary Long Term Occasional Teaching Assignments will be considered in the following order in accordance with Regulation 274:

1. Teachers on the long-term occasional teachers' list who have the required qualifications and have the highest seniority ranking.

*Human Resources will review the candidates who apply and place based on LTO seniority and qualifications for French and English LTOs. For Special Education, ELD, and Intermediate Instrumental Music positions interviews will occur.

2. Teachers on the long-term occasional teachers' list who have the required qualifications.

3. Teachers on the occasional teachers' list who have the required qualifications.

It is the expectation that a teacher who accepts an assignment must agree to complete the assignment as posted. Teachers should apply only to the vacancies to which they will accept a placement or interview.
