to join our summer school team as our:

Developmental Disability and Autism Summer Learning Program Teachers

Developmental Disability Program:This program is for students, up to the age of 21, presently registered in fully self-contained and semi-integrated Developmental Disabilities Programs. The goal of this program is to maintain basic literacy and numeracy, social and life skills of the students. Full day in-person program.

Autism Program: This program is for students, up to the age of 21, presently registered in the Autism Spectrum Disorder Program. The goal of this program is to maintain basic literacy and numeracy, social and life skills of the students. Full day in-person program. Positions available: MultipleSummer Term includes:

Staff Orientation: Tuesday July 2, 2024; half day

Classes: July 3rd-25th, 2024 (8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily)Locations: Crystal Bay (DD), Clifford Bowey (DD) and Roberta Bondar (ASD)Salary per session: $48.79/hr + 4% Vacation pay Responsibilities Report to the Site Administrator.

Attend meetings to plan and organize the summer program.

Implement the instructional program.

Carry out other related duties as required. Required Qualifications 1. Valid Ontario Teaching Certificate with Basic Qualifications at the Primary/Junior/Intermediate level or at least in two of these divisions.

2. Special Education Part I Preferred Qualifications 1. Additional Special Education qualifications with experience preferred.

2. Current First aid / CPR Certificates

3. Current Crisis Intervention Training (BMS or NVCI)
