Reporting to the Superintendent of Education, the Coordinator, EarlyON Centre will be responsible for managing staff and volunteers, fostering community partnerships and ensuring the delivery of high quality, inclusive programs for young children and their families.

Ongoing learning and career growth.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Maintain service delivery requirements, while adhering to provincial guidelines and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Incorporate the Ministry of Education EarlyON Child and Family Centre core services and adherence to Ontarios Pedagogy for the Early Years framework.

Provide subject matter expertise on projects with internal and external partners, participate on working groups/committees and liaise with other service managers, community and provincial partners.

Gather, develop and analyze program outcomes, associate performance measures and accountability frameworks, as well as information trends, issues, gaps and statistics for planning and reporting purposes.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support initiatives and projects.

Promote and advertise for the EarlyON Centre through designing and distributing pertinent information.

Provide performance appraisals for educators and administrative staff by observing, assessing and monitoring childrens progress and behavior in collaboration with parents/guardians.

Supervise educators/staff, participants, students and volunteers.

Responsible for administrative tasks involving performance management, timesheet preparation, scheduling and other required tasks.

Ensure Health and Safety Policies and Child Protection Procedures are followed.

Promote and use Behavior Management techniques in all interactions with the children.

Maintaining and reporting all appropriate data collection records for participants.

Other duties as assigned.WHAT YOU BRING: Two-year college diploma in Early Childhood Education required.

Three years of supervisory experience in an early learning setting required.

Active registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators required.

University degree in a related field considered an asset.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Superior business management skills, i.e., budget development and implementation, monthly and annual reports.This is a full time, temporary position.

HOURS: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
