JOB DESCRIPTION

The Special Educational Assistant will support and care for the development needs of students with a variety of learning challenges in grades K to 7. These may include: ASD, Down Syndrome, Language based learning disorders, and other learning and behavioral challenges. The S.E.A. needs to take initiative and be able to work closely with classroom teachers, other S.E.A.s, Learning Resource teachers and school based team members. The S.E.A. also should be interested in having some fun with fellow staff members, and kids, and recognize the value of laughter! We work as a team and take time for fun as a team too!
