NATURE OF THE ASSIGNMENT

As an authorized International Baccalaureate World School, offering the Primary Years Program (IB PYP), the staff at Queen Mary are committed to working collaboratively in the design and implementation of instruction. The BC curriculum is delivered within the framework and philosophy of the IB PYP. Staff members work together in the development and implementation of IB PYP action plans and school goals (specifically literacy and numeracy for 2024-25). In the 2024-25 school year Queen Mary will be undergoing an IBO Evaluation in which all staff members will be taking part. Commitment to, involvement in the evaluation process is required. Days of work are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor of Education Degree (Intermediate).

Successful experience teaching at the Intermediate level.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Possession of a BC Teaching Certificate
