Foothills School Division is currently seeking a permanent part-time Secretary for Percy Pegler School for approximately 26.25 hours per week.

Expectations for the role of Secretary include: - excellent communication, management and organizational skills

- excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating warmth, tact, diplomacy and confidentiality with parents, students, staff, outside agencies and the general public

- excellent collaborative, collegial and teamwork abilities

- a strong ability to constantly multitask and prioritize demands

- a strong work ethic characterized by flexibility, patience, attention to detail, confidence, persistence and resilience

- familiarity with student information systems such as Maplewood, PASI and Students Achieve is highly desirableThe successful candidate must have a broad administrative background and solid knowledge of computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, e-mail and desktop publishing applications. Knowledge of Edsembli would be considered an asset.

This position follows the 10-month school calendar, serves a six month probationary period and offers a comprehensive benefit package after a three month period.
