POSITION: Junior Math / Science Teacher

APPOINTMENT: 1.0 FTE Temporary

DURATION: September 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025 Qualifications Required: degree in secondary education and a major in math or science;

recent successful classroom experience teaching at the secondary level in the subject areas;

ability to adapt curriculum, programs, and instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students;

ability to model, teach and foster social, emotional and cultural awareness;

knowledge of current 21st century pedagogy and assessment practices;

demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professional community at the school and district level;

effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills;

ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs; and
