Casual Learning Technologies System Technician(s)

C.U.P.E. 2357 (Level 6)

Under the direction of the Service Desk Supervisor, the casual Learning Technologies System Technician : helps to maintain software and hardware in a networked environment; including hardware and software installation, configuration, repair, testing, support;

performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor.Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge and Skills : two year Community college diploma in a related field;

four years of related experience;

proficiency in Cloud Application Suites, business software, diagnostic tools, imaging and backup solutions, and help desk, etc.;

have initiative, excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills;

excellent technicial diagnostic skills;

excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

ability to work independently and as part of a team;

valid Ontario Driver Class G license and use of a personal vehicle;

individuals who possess an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.This is an on-call, casual position with a rate of $34.19 per hour plus 4% vacation pay. Please note that this is not a permanent or full time position .

Locations: Various schools and 570 West Hunt Club Road.
