Administrative Assistant - Human Resources (Term)

Non Affiliated Level 2COMP # 3738541 - Human Resources DepartmentUnder the direction of the Team Lead - Human Resources Coordinator, the Administrative Assistant provides a broad range of administrative services to assist with the effective operation of the Human Resources department.

Key Accountabilities Include:

Advertising and coordinating long-term occasional contracts and occasional teaching vacancies, including scheduling interviews

Providing support to the HR Officers and the Team Lead

Organizing, compile and manage information for staffing and recruitment

Receiving and Reviewing Pastoral Letters and Evaluations

Processing hiring documentation and related correspondence

Preparing data for various reports and summaries

Maintaining support documentation for various processes

Liaise with Principals, staff and other departments to assist with HR initiatives as directed

Performing other administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

One year of post secondary education

3 years of administrative experience

Proficient with Google Suite (Gmail, Forms, Sheets, Drive, etc.), spreadsheets and database management

Demonstrated attention to detail

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Strong analytical and time management skills

Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders

Individuals who possess an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered

In addition, the following will be considered an asset:

Completion of a post secondary degree/diploma/certificate in a related field

Experience with HR processes and databases

Experience with Apply To Education

Experience with Laserfiche

Previous school board experience

This is a full time (1.0 FTE) temporary assignment with an anticipated start date of approximately May 13, 2024 with an anticipated end date of March 28, 2025. The annual salary range for this role is $46,501 - $56,734 plus 4% in lieu of vacation, prorated to the duration and FTE as applicable.How to Apply:
