The school is located in the town of Peace River and serves students from grades 5-8. The school offers a high quality core academic program, consisting of English, French Immersion and French Second Language and a wide range of exploratory courses which include Art, Drama, Home Economics and Band. T.A. Norris also offers hockey and dance academies.One Full-Time (1.0 f.t.e.) Humanities French Immersion Teacher is required commencing August 28, 2024 and continuing until June 30, 2025.

Qualifications: knowledge of the Alberta Program of Studies

knowledge of the French language

a commitment to student achievement

training and/or successful teaching experience

effective communication and classroom management skills

ability to work as part of a teamRequirements: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Provide an acceptance current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check

Annual Salary Range:

$ 62, 702 to $ 105, 996 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers Association and the Peace River School Division).
