Courseload to include: Humanities 10-2/10-4
English 10-2
Social Studies 10-2
The Brick Learning Centre utilizes it's own designed and developed modules
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing each students progress.
Qualifications:
Experience working in an outreach school setting
Strong understanding of formative assessment practices as drivers for deeper learning and understanding
Strong understanding of trauma-informed approach to instruction
Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships with students from at-risk scenarios
Experience working with adult students
Strong interpersonal skills
Highly flexible and works well under pressure
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of special and individual needs
Effective classroom management
Strong foundational knowledge background and experiences as they pertain to First Nations, Metis and Inuit students
