Must be available to attend the driver start-up meeting on August 27, 2024
Applicants must have experience driving a school bus
Valid Class 1 or 2 operators License
S Endorsement or MELT 2-S as well as a clean drivers abstract and be in good physical health
Ability to pass an in-house school bus driver evaluation
First Aid Certification is strongly recommended but can be obtained through WCPS once hired
As well, the successful candidate must be able to produce a satisfactory vulnerable sector check (Current within six months)Details: The Ponoka 1 route covers approximately 145 kms per day. All route distances are subject to change. The first pick up time is 7:00 A.M., last drop-off time is 4:30 P.M.
Seniority, familiarity with the route/area, and proximity to the route will be considered throughout the decision-making process.
The successful applicant will be eligible for benefits.
This competition is open to both within and outside of the Wolf Creek School Division.
