Assignment: Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position Courseload to include Grade 9 ScienceGrade 7 Science Tutorial block, supporting Junior High students High school block which is flexible to meet student programming within Math and Science, who need extra support, or alternative environments/scheduling Duties will commence on November 12, 2024 and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year Qualifications: Experience teaching in relevant grade and subjects would be considered an asset Strong background and experience in Junior/Senior high would be considered an asset Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Willingness to work in an active, team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment Passionate about teaching and ensuring belief in every student Ability to effectively integrate technology and an understanding of 21st Century Learning Skills Assessment literate Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs Strong planning and organizational skills Effective classroom management Commitment to ongoing professional growth Application: *Applications for this employment opportunity are preferred via email.
