KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build partnerships with community and business stakeholders to enhance programs for student work experience programming
- Develop and implement student specific plans tailored to each student in the program
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, engagement and job readiness skills
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers and support staff to ensure effective communication and support for each student
- Organize job shadowing, internships and community-based learning experiences
- Monitor student progress and adapt instruction as needed to meet diverse learning styles
- Provide ongoing assessments and feedback to students and parents/caregivers QUALIFICATIONS:
- Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Resource or Guidance Certificate preferred
- Strong knowledge of student specific planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, families, and community partners
- Familiarity with vocational training programs and resources
- Experience in job coaching or related field(s)
- Training in behaviour management strategies
