In anticipation of future Principal and Vice Principal vacancies, the Quesnel School District is seeking qualified applicants for our eligibility pool.

Required Qualifications and Experience Membership in good standing in the Ministry of Education - Teacher Regulation Branch

Masters degree or be currently enrolled in a Masters Degree program in an applicable educational field, or planning to enrol in a program in the near future

Minimum of five years exemplary teaching experienceSpecial Skills and Competencies Implementing Ministry, District and School goals while establishing a culture of staff learning directly related to student achievement

Nurturing each students learning experiences and well-being within a safe, responsive and inclusive learning community

Implementing innovative practices that lead to student success focusing on literacy, numeracy and social emotional learning

Commitment to creating equitable learning experiences for indigenous students and supporting the work of reconciliation

Utilizing a variety of effective decision-making processes that build consensus, commitment, and collaboration

Fostering team building, a sense of one learning community, and a culture of continuous learning

Advocating for public schools and strong community connectionsThe salary range is: $128,000 - $160,000 per year with a comprehensive benefits and pension package.
