Principal Red Lake-Madsen Public School Keewatin-Patricia District School Board (KPDSB) is situated in beautiful Northwestern Ontario. KPDSB serves the educational needs of approximately 5,000 students within 17 elementary and 6 secondary schools in the communities of Kenora, Sioux Narrows, Vermilion Bay, Ear Falls, Red Lake, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Ignace, Pickle Lake, Savant Lake, and Upsala. As a dynamic and dedicated educator, you will work with faculty, support staff, students, parents, and the community of Red Lake in Northwestern Ontario to provide an excellent education in a learner-centered environment that prepares each student to be a successful individual and a responsible member of society. Your qualifications are supported by your knowledge of current Ontario elementary and/or secondary curriculum, school improvement planning, data analysis, literacy. numeracy and appropriate Ministry initiatives.Special Education qualifications, Indigenous Education Programming experience, solid administrative skills, as well as familiarity with First Nations culture are assets. Candidates willhave completed Part 1 of the Principals Qualification Program and have proof of registration in, or completion of, Part 2 of the Principals Qualification Program.A minimum of five years teaching experience and Special Education Qualifications (minimum Part 1) required. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work positively, collaboratively and respectfully with a strong focus on student success, achievement and well-being.
