Summer Students to Support Information Technology Services

The Avon Maitland District School Board is inviting applications for two (2) Summer Students to support the Information Technology Services Department with inventory and e-Waste processing this summer. It is expected that the summer students would be available to begin work by Monday June 24, 2024 to Friday August 9, 2024. (Start date is negotiable).Qualifications:

1. Registered to return to full time post secondary schooling in the Fall;

2. Have a valid G drivers license;

3. Demonstrated ability to work positively and cooperatively as part of a team;

4. Familiarity with the use of technology to enter digital records would be considered an asset;

5. Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks;

6. Access to a reliable vehicle; and

7. Understanding and commitment to confidentiality.Rate of Pay: $18.37 per hour as per Level 1 in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Employment for the Non-Union, Management and Administrative and Supervisory Employees. This rate of pay is subject to change pending the implementation of the updated grids due to Bill 124 remedy payments.

Hours of Work : Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
