EIPS is recruiting two French Immersion Teachers at cole Campbelltown.

cole Campbelltown offers a French Immersion program serving approximately 380 students in kindergarten to Grade 6, with 18 teaching staff and six support staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB.

There is a history of strong co-operative collaboration between home and school at cole Campbelltown. Learning requires teamworkstudent, teacher and family. Staff will be Striving for Excellence / Nous visions lexcellence in all they do. C ommencing August 27, 2024

Open to internal and external applicants, priority will be given to EIPS teachers who hold a continuous contract and meet the minimum requirements of the position.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Education degree

Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Excellent communication skills in both French and English

Effective organization and classroom management skills

Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged

Excellent verbal and written skills

Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
