Elk Island Public Schools is recruiting 2 Summer School Teachers - Work Experience/RAP Teacher and Site Inspectors
Open to: Internal and external candidates who are qualified teachers
Candidates must have familiarity with Work Experience and Registered Apprenticeship Program. The program runs July 2 to August 20. Weekly/daily hours schedule will be determined based on the on the number of students, with an average of approximately 80 hours per instructor. Will be flexible to the needs of the program. The teacher(s) will be compensated for instruction at a rate of $59.31 per hour.
Duties: Working closely with employers and community members
Conducting and completing site visits in several communities as neededCandidates must have previous experience teaching High School.
Experience with BrightSpace platform is required.
This position is conditional on sufficient student registrations.
The successful candidate(s) must have or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
